- The magazines background is usually made out of either one large image or two or three combined images of a concert of the artist or just some equipment.
- Any information on the CD or concert line up is placed at the bottom of the page although in some adverts it is half ways down the page. this is usually Dependant on the picture for the background.
- Smaller images can be used but should be placed together in one corner.
- Any web addresses where you could find more information on the product, concert should be placed at the bottom of the page.
- if the CD's song listings is on the page they should be in the same format and style as the CD's back cover.
- The title of the CD should also maintain the same font as the title of the CD its advertising.

From the music adverts which I have researched I have found many codes and conventions as a number of things such as headings have appeared in similar places. here are some codes and conventions which I found:
