Creating the CD's Front Cover

To start the front cover of my CD I first created a plain document which is 2362 by 2362 pixels which will fit a CD whilst still having a lot of detail. To start off I added a black and white gradient to give me some idea of what can go where.

Here I added the two titles of the Cd which are the DJ's name and the name of the CD itself. For the DJ's name I used the "Rockwell Extra Bold" Font. For the title of the album I used the "Alien Encounters" font as it works well with the style of dance music.

In this shot I have added an image of the artist as he plays at home which I have cut out to create a more interesting effect. To make the image even better I then added the "Poster Edges" effect to give it a animated and unusual look.Here I also added a small amount of text to tell the viewers some information on the CD which is in the "Rockwell Extra Bold" font.

To finish the front cover I then added an image from an online tutorial which I created as I think it looks quite weird which I believe will work well with my CD.Once I added this image i then used the "Glowing Edges" effect to simplify it and to make the colours stand out.
