Creating the CD Covers Spine

To create the CD's spine I simply started with a blank page which is 1cm by 12cm's which is the size i got from measuring the average CD cases spine.

After creating this box and filling in a gradient for a tempory background I then added the name of the album "THE TRANCE TEMPO" into the middle of the box which is in the same font as the front cover.

Here like the front cover I have now added the name of the artist on the left side of the title so the viewers of the CD can easily tell that its "DJ WRAIGHTS" music.

   

Here I have added a small logo which is on the far right of the Cd's spine this logo is to represent a possible recording studio where the Cd would made.

    

I then added the same background to the spins as on the front back and inside covers this will make it work well with the rest of the CD.

    

To finish the spine I then added the "glowing edges" effect from Photoshop onto the background of the Cd's spine so it matches the rest of the CD.
